The London Eye, centrally located in the heart of the capital opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, is the world’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel and showcases breathtaking 360 degree views of the city and its famous landmarks. The slow rotation in one of the 32 glass capsules takes around half an hour and gives you an ever-changing perspective of London with breathtaking views of Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, The Gherkin and Canary Wharf to name but a few. On a clear day you can see up to a 40 kilometre panoramic view.
Free with every ticket is entry to the London Eye 4D Experience which brings London to life through unique perspectives and multi-sensory special effects, including wind, bubbles and scent.
It is a good idea to book tickets in advance – you can do this and find out more about visiting the London Eye here.
