Tucked away in a back street in Islington, The Little Angel Theatre is London’s only permanent puppet theatre.
The 100-seat theatre stages diverse productions throughout the year, aimed at family audiences. Some of these are produced by Little Angel Theatre but they also welcome puppetry companies from around the world to perform on their stage.
Running from September 12th to October 28th is a production of “The Journey Home”, based on the book by Frann Preston-Gannon. Roald Dahl’s “The Giraffe, The Pelly & Me” runs from November 21st to January 31st.
Uniquely, the theatre shares its space with the workshop in which the puppets are created so is also able to offer puppeteering workshops and activities for both children and adults.
