Green’s Restaurant and Oyster Bar with its gentleman’s club ambience, dark wood panelling and leather banquettes, is considered by many to be a Great British institution. Located in the heart of St. James’ it offers diners the opportunity to choose from its seasonal menu, including a range of Great British classics, an extensive selection of fresh fish and its signature oyster platter, in a setting that manages to be both luxurious and welcoming.
Owner Simon Parker Bowls opened the restaurant in 1992 after spotting a need for old-fashioned, comfort food in the area and the restaurant has been welcoming guests ever since. Although fish and crustacea are the stars of the menu, you will find some meat dishes and something to cater for vegetarians.
The nearest tube stations are Green Park and Piccadilly Circus so the restaurant can be reached by tube from any of our London vacation rentals.
